Procedure – Degree Attestation from Saudi Embassy

Degree Attestation from Saudi Embassy in Pakistan can be required if you are planning to work in Saudi Arabia. This is not an easy job and good paperwork is required for this process. In order to get attested degree from Saudi Embassy it also need prior attestation from Saudi Culture Islamabad, HEC and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan.

Where to Go:

Saudi Embassy is not directly entertaining applicants for attestation of degree and other documents. Therefore, Saudi Embassy authorized few agencies all over in Pakistan to collect documents from applicants, take them to Saudi Embassy and return these documents back to applicant after attestation or in case of any objection.

Degree Attestation from Saudi Embassy if already working in Saudi Arabia:

Requirements:

  1. Two copies of Valid Passport, Iqama, Saudi Visa page on Passport and CNIC (Prior attested by Saudi Employer)
  2. Request Letter from your employer in Saudi Arabia for attestation from Saudi Culture Islamabad (Prior attested by Saudi Chamber of Commerce)
  3. Request Letter from your employer in Saudi Arabia for attestation from Saudi Embassy Islamabad (Prior attested by Saudi Chamber of Commerce)
  4. Job Contract / Agreement Letter from your employer (Prior attested by Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Saudi Foreign Office)
  5. Original Degree (Prior attested by HEC and Foreign Office in Pakistan)
  6. All original Marksheet(s) of same Degree (Prior attestations are not required)
  7. Bonafide Letter from degree issuing university (Prior attested by Foreign Office in Pakistan)

Notes for above requirements: 

  1. Both request letters must contain Iqama Number and Passport Number of applicant
  2. Job Agreement must contain Iqama Number and Passport Number of applicant
  3. Job Agreement must not older then one year
  4. Name & father’s name of applicant must be the same on all documents (i.e. spellings and first & last names etc)

Process:

  1. Send one set of Passport, Iqama, Saudi Visa and CNIC copies from above list to the address of Saudi Culture in Islamabad via DHL.
    Address of Saudi Culture Islamabad: House No. 16-A, Street No. 25-A, F-6/2, P.O. Box 1180, Islamabad. Phone: +92-51-2827876, 2821977.
    As mentioned above these documents need prior attestation by Saudi Employer.
  2. Submission – Submit all other documents from above list of required documents along-with copy of DHL Receipt in any agency authorized by Saudi Embassy in Pakistan. Agent’s fee for this attestation process should be around PKR 7500 to 8000.
  3. Completion – This attestation process can take approximately 20 working days for completion if all goes well and there is no objection by the Saudi Culture. Please note that Saudi Culture is very strict and they can object on small things like if passport number is missing in Job Agreement etc. So, make sure that you all requirements are complete before you submit documents for attestation.

Degree Attestation from Saudi Embassy for New Appointment:

Requirements:

    1. Two copies of Valid Passport, Saudi Visa and CNIC (Prior attested by Saudi Employer)
    2. Request Letter from your employer in Saudi Arabia for attestation from Saudi Culture Islamabad (Prior attested by Saudi Chamber of Commerce)
    3. Request Letter from your employer in Saudi Arabia for attestation from Saudi Embassy Islamabad (Prior attested by Saudi Chamber of Commerce)
    4. Job Contract / Agreement Letter OR Job Offer Letter from your employer (Prior attested by Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Saudi Foreign Office)
