Procedure to get Domicile in Islamabad

Pakistani citizens can submit their necessary documents in domicile branch of District Magistrate Office in order to get Domicile in Islamabad.

Required documents for domicile in Islamabad:

  1. Application Forms – Click here to Download
  2. Copy of applicant’s CNIC / Form B if age is below 18 (with Islamabad address)
  3. Islamabad residence proof (like any property document)
  4. Copy of any utility bill (Gas or Electricity)
  5. Copy of CNIC from father of applicant
  6. Copy of father’s Islamabad domicile (required only if age of applicant is below than 21 years)
  7. School Certificate of applicant (Matric Certificate)
  8. Bank Challan – duly Stamped by the bank
  9. An affidavit – duly signed and attested
  10. Four (4) Passport Photos (with blue background)

How to proceed:

  1. Submit domicile fee of Rs. 200/- in NBP (ask for the relevant branch from concerned domicile office).
  2. Submit required documents to the Head Clerk General along-with Application Form.
  3. Concerned department can ask for additional documents in special cases like if parents of applicant are deceased. In that case guardian’s certificate, residence proof of guardian and death certificate of parents can be required.
  4. After necessary approval by the District Magistrate domicile will be issued.
